Scratch Team – Treble Champions!

A fantastic achievement for Ulverston Golf Club’s Scratch Team, who rounded off an outstanding season by securing the Cumbria Scratch Championship and completing a remarkable trophy treble!

Playing at home against Workington GC on Sunday 18th October, Ulverston produced a superb team performance to claim a 3½–1½ victory and be crowned Cumbria Scratch Champions.

The final was played in superb conditions, providing a fitting end to a memorable season. Following the golf, players and guests enjoyed a meal and presentation to celebrate the occasion.

The victory adds to an already impressive season, with the team having previously secured the Hodson Trophy for the fifth time in six years and the South Division Scratch League title.

Huge congratulations to all the players who have represented Ulverston throughout the season. Completing the treble is a tremendous achievement and one the whole Club can be extremely proud of.

A big thank you also to everyone who came along to support the team on Sunday and throughout the season, and to the volunteers who gave their time to help prepare the course and ensure it was presented in such fantastic condition for the final!
