Open Competitions

We have a full schedule of open competitions of various formats during the summer months. We also have a series of winter opens. All of which are listed below and can be booked online or over the telephone.

Ladies Team of 4 Shotgun Open - 11am start

Thursday, 10th September 2026

Format: Stableford team of 4 - 2 scores to count
Tees: Red
Handicap Allowance: 85%
Max Handicap: Index 40.0
Players must have a WHS Handicap Index and be a member of an Affiliated Club. Players must have at least 4 scores recorded on their WHS record in the last 12 months.
Entry Fee: £35 per person - includes Food after Golf

Autumn Seniors Open

Thursday, 1st October 2026

Format: 4BBB Stableford
Age: 55 years and older
Tees: Yellow
Handicap Allowance: 85%
Max Handicap: Index 25.9
Prizes for the first five pairs (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th)
To be eligible to win a prize, players must be a member of a recognised golf club (excludes iGolf and similar)
Entry Fee: Visitor £30pp, Member £20pp
