7th Hole – “Birkett’s”

The men’s tee is elevated, needing a long well placed drive to avoid a cluster of bunkers on the left and to give you a view of the pin. A bunker on its left hand side hidden from the fairway protects the hole, whilst the ground falls away sharply on the right which is also bunkered.

“A long drive up the hill leaves around 150 yards to the pin, any drive that doesn’t make it up the hill leaves a blind second shot to this hole. Any shot right of the green will roll down the bank leaving a testing chip shot to the elevated green.”
